SIM card upgrade calls

"Said they were calling from O2 and Virgin Media. They said O2 would be turning off 4G and they needed to send a new SIM tomorrow and then stop the old one. They never wanted my address which seemed strange because I use pay as you go and O2 don't have it. A quick search online shows O2 aren't turning off 4G so it's a scam. I let them talk and the sim replacement ended up with them wanting to send a code for me to call back over the phone. I refused and they asked why. I told them I didn't trust the call and they sighed and ended the call."

"Said they were phoning from Vodafone or Lebara, said customers had complained of high bills because of old SIM cards, and they would send a new one for free, asked for email, had a strong Asian accent"

"Called about changing phone from 4G to 5G and also sent a text with a code that looked like it could link to facilitate a fraud. Woman caller had foreign accent, maybe Asian accent sounded late 20s or early 30's. There was another voice in the room she was calling from, a loud woman."
