With so many of us ordering online, delivery scams have become a favourite trick for fraudsters. You'll get a call or a text saying a parcel couldn't be delivered and that you need to pay a small fee or confirm your details to rebook. They'll use names like Royal Mail, DPD, Hermes, or Amazon to make it sound genuine.
Legitimate couriers won't ring you asking for payment to release a parcel. If you're expecting a delivery, go to the retailer's website directly and track it there. Don't click links in texts or give details to callers. Our guides cover the different delivery scam tactics and how to tell a real missed delivery notice from a fake one.
