3 User Conduct

When using CallerCheck, you agree not to:

Submit false, misleading, or malicious reports about phone numbers
Use the Service to harass, defame, or intimidate any person or business
Attempt to manipulate spam scores or game the reporting system
Use automated tools, bots, or scripts to access the Service without permission
Scrape, harvest, or collect data from the Service for commercial purposes
Interfere with or disrupt the Service or its servers and networks
Upload viruses, malware, or other harmful code
Violate any applicable laws or regulations

We reserve the right to remove any content, block any user, and take appropriate legal action against anyone who violates these Terms.

4 User Contributions

When you submit a report or comment ("User Content") to CallerCheck, you:

  • Grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free, perpetual, worldwide licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute your User Content in connection with the Service.
  • Represent that your User Content is accurate and based on your genuine experience.
  • Acknowledge that your User Content may be visible to other users and the public.
  • Accept that we may moderate, edit, or remove User Content at our discretion.

You are solely responsible for your User Content. We do not endorse any User Content and expressly disclaim any liability arising from it.

5 Intellectual Property

The Service, including its design, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and software, is owned by CallerCheck UK and is protected by UK and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

  • Spam score reliability: Spam scores are calculated from user reports and may not reflect the true nature of a phone number.
  • Service availability: We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access to the Service.
  • Third-party content: We are not responsible for content on external websites linked from our Service.

You use the Service at your own risk. We recommend verifying important information through official sources before making decisions based on data from CallerCheck.

7 Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, CallerCheck UK and its directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any:

  • Indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
  • Loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
  • Damages arising from your use of or inability to use the Service

9 Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including if you breach these Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will cease immediately. All provisions of these Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive, including ownership provisions, warranty disclaimers, indemnification, and limitations of liability.
