SIM card upgrade calls

"Said they were from O2 about a new sim. Seems they have my O2 account info and also offers a discount on my tariff. Already has my address and email. Got suspicious when they asked for my bank details."

"Pretended to be from O2, saying my SIM card had to be "upgraded to super 5G" or my number would get disconnected."

"Said they are sending us a new sim card because they're changing their system. Then, after about half an hour, said she needs me to pay £1 and wants my bank details. I didn't give them to her."

I called them scammers they hung up straight away. Feel bad cause if my nan was to answer the phone she would 100% believe it’s true. Shame on them. Karma will do its job."
