SIM card upgrade calls

"They claimed to be from a company for mobile phone contact renewal. Legit I assume but did not state company or verify from my current provider."

"SCAM CALL - someone pretended to be from EE and offered to upgrade my SIM card to 5G. The person also sent a text message that looked like it was from EE, which made me think the call was real. This is a 'SPOOFING SCAM' - a scam text made to look like it came from a real place. The text had a one-time code that they wanted me to read back to them. This was all to make me trust them, and then they asked for my personal details for security, but I didn't give them any. I've let EE know about this scam."

I asked if she was from the current company that I am with, but no answer, told her that I would go into town as my supplier has a shop. Ended the call and she is now blocked."

I told him it was a work phone and I wasn't the account owner. The second caller (same number) asked who my provider was. Seemed like there was some confusion in India!"
