Impersonation calls

"Asian caller said that he worked for Sky. I asked him what scam centre in India he was calling from. He then hung up."

"Said that they was HMRC"

"Automated message from HMRC saying don't call you on a mobile number from 3 network. Avoid and block. Got this same call from many different mobile numbers!"

"They claimed to be from O2 company"

"They claimed to be from a company (Vodaphone and 3)"

"cold call - said they were from immigration - asked if I wanted the call in English or Chinese. (I then hung up!)"

"Said they were from the immigration office"

"Female machine voice said they were Barclays and some changes had been done in Barclays- if this was not you press .... i ignored and hung up, checked my bank and nothing had been done so its a scam"

"Said they were from O2, offering upgrades and saying my sim card would be deactivated in the next few days and i needed to sign up to an upgraded sim....
 
 When O2 call, the caller ID shows it is O2. All that came up for this call was the number "02039722661""

"Someone called from this number saying they were Tesco Mobile and wanted to talk about lowering my bill. I don't have Tesco Mobile so I think it was the start of a scam."

"Would not take no for an answer he said he was going to disconnect my number he said he was from 3 and they are sending me a new sim card as vodaphone no longer is that and am not with vodaphone so I new it was a scam"

"Called saying they were from EE and offered a cheaper phone deal. They had my bank details and wanted £30 upfront for a DPD delivery of some documents. I hung up and rang EE who said it's a well known scam. The scammer had also changed my email address on my EE account."

"They claimed to be from Vodafone, said my number would expire in 24/48 hours, and offered me a new 5G sim to replace it Claimed to be from my network"

"Threatened arrest or legal action"

"Caller caught me off guard since I'm waiting for unknown calls. Thought they mentioned they were EE, which I first thought meant Emergency Services for Hospital. Then they said EE Network. Clearly they were from Vodofone, based on the phone, and not on EE Network. They had an Indian or Pakistanish accent. They were pushing me for more info. I said I wouldn't share anything, and then they hung up."

"Santander security notice. Needing approval of payment payment from new device"

"Just say Yes scam. Pre-recorded woman's voice asking "Can you hear me OK?" to get a "Yes" that can be recorded and used in a scam agreement against you. AVOID IT. JUST HANG UP."

"A woman called, said she was from the bank's security. We get these scam calls all the time. It's very annoying and worrysome."

"Claimed to be from my bank checking AMAZON transactions"
