Phishing calls

"Claimed I liked an AI investment ad. When challenged and told they were just phishing and challenged to say on what platform this alleged 'like' happened they hung up!"

"Felt like a scam . I contact the firm they said they were in the text YUmove and they said they never send out text asking to update payment details."

"Something didn't feel right - straight to voicemail but no voicemail left. The number had a tag 'Please add me on'. Dodgy as. Possible phishing call?"

"Was listed as a return to confirm number in an email from Nationwide Bank to confirm a recurring direct debit for £899.99 per month to an unknown dental practice named as Deansgate Dental Practice. I Do not have a Nationwide Account nor have ever heard of the Dental Practice. The email originated in India....enough said."

"I received a txt from this number stating that I had missed a delivery and it needed to be rescheduled. On my phone it directed me to a website that asked for my name and address and birth date to verify it was my parcel and then asked for credit card details to charge me 79p for redelivery, at which I ended the call. At home, I checked the website - https://evr.30251e46.com - and my web security immediately identified it as a fraudulent phishing site. Subsequently I have already received two further phishing calls trying to get bank account information from me."

"07700 182644 is unknown to me so I didn't answer the phone. My friend who did answer the number had it immediately hang up. That is the spam call centers auto-dialer phishing for live numbers to call back with a human operative later. Never answer an unknown number."
