"Claimed to be from 'bank security' - did not name bank! Caller (automated female voice) said there were 'suspicious' transactions on my account - press a number to discuss with 'bank security'. I ended call."
"Automated female voice said two suspicious transactions on my account this morning: £99 to Amazon and £799 to Zoom. Said to press a digit to speak to security. Same M.O. occurred from a different number last month to which I responded and spoke with an Asian-sounding man who obtained my address and postcode as a security check and asked for my account balance before the suspicious transactions. He perhaps obtained my debit card number but not the security code. I became suspicious when he asked if I held any other accounts elsewhere which might be under threat. I hung up and reported the incident to my bank who confirmed that it had been a phishing attempt. The call has been repeated using an identical voice and preamble (Amazon and Zoom) a few times from different numbers. I have blocked the number after each attempt."
"Sent link to track package . Used an NZ Post (New Zealand) look-alike site advising failed delivery of a package that I had ordered and requested a small fee to have the package re-delivered. Credit card details were requested for the payment so this was obviously a phishing scam. The worrying detail was that they had access to the correct NZ Post delivery tracking number for the expected package. However, the actual package was still in transit from China to New Zealand and had not even arrived or cleared customs in New Zealand."
"Bank security, there's been an unauthorised transaction of £---, press a number. It's the phishing type that doesn't say which bank or card holder. I reckon if you press the number it will put you through to a high cost call."

"recorded voice to say a suspicious transaction on my account. Requesting to press 1 is I don't recognise the transaction."
"Did not identify which bank was phoning from. Told me there was a suspicious transaction from Remitly of circa £800 on my card, asked me to put my mobile phone on speaker, go to app store & download an app, they would guide me through the process including to give me a code to direct me to the fraud department. I ended the call at this point."

"No voicemail left. It says Clitheroe uk, I don't know anyone from there. Also, it was a txt from O2 about a missed call, the phone didn't ring. I think thats a fishing expedition. Either way, I've seen an increase on mobile calls leaving no messages in the last 3 weeks."
