Impersonation calls

"Recorded woman’s voice saying high value amounts on my card (no mention of my actual bank) for companies that I haven’t previously used so press 1 for something & 2 to speak to the bank. Clearly scam so don’t answer this number!!"

"Didn't verify their identity .Strangest call I've had in a long time. Someone saying they are from the Immigration department and want to speak to me. I said what is this about? They then started saying "speak Chinese", "speak Chinese" repeatedly then hung up. I rang the number back and phone message said this number is not recognised."

"Political survey This morning Saturday 13 June 2026 at 10.51 hours I received a telephone call from 07520644829. It was a female who said she was calling from the Department of Work and Pensions and doing a survey. Despite me saying it was not convenient she was very persistent and wanted to know when it will be convenient for her to call me. I ended the call. I did not know that the DWP worked on a Saturday and why would they use a mobile telephone number? I believe this was a fraudulent telephone call. A scam and if it calls again I will not answer."
