Fake transaction alert calls

"Scam. Sent a message saying I have parking fine and urging me to pay. Well I don’t have a car."

"Left message: "charges £99 from Amazon and the second charge is £799 from Zoom. We believe it's to be suspicious and unauthorized transactions. You have never used these services passed through your card. To allow these transaction press 1 or cancel and talk with bank security department press 2. Thank you." Claimed to be from my bank"

"Automated/robocall . Said my card had been used for an unusual purpose. No card or bank mentioned. Clearly a typical scam."

"Automated voice suggested my card had been used at curry's pc world in the amount of £338.39 if this was not you please press 1 etc. I didn't answer let it go to voicemail block this no. Rang @ 19:05 pm ."

If this action wasn't made by you, please press one." No details on who was calling, no proof provided that a bank may normally present ("Your account ending in XXXX", a first or last name, etc.). Expect if I had answered and pressed 1 I would have been taken to a call centre and probed for as much information as possible."

"Claimed to be from my bank . Said a new direct debit had been rejected and press 0 if I hadn't set one up or 1 if I had. I just hung up."

"Claimed to be from my bank via a recorded message and reported suspicious charges on bank cards from amazon and zoo. Obviously the charges did not exist and it was trying to get me to connect to someone to take control of accounts. Very obvious but as they are still running these scams they must work on some people. If worried never press a button to connect to someone, first hang up and make sure you have disconnected, then ring an official number for your bank which is on a statement or other official communication."
