"This company claimed they were from a metering company stating my smart metre is broken which it isn't. I struggled to understand the gentleman that called as he was talking too fast and over me. I had to ask what company he was call from numerous times and again I couldn't make out where he was calling from. He then said they were a third party company representing the gas and electric suppliers. He kept talking I told him I was ending the call. I know that my meter is not faulty as I only spoke to my supplier the day before who said it was supplying the correct readings."

I asked her what the address was and she repeated the question again and also said that they were doing a survey and needed me to confirm that I was the property owner. She decided to end the call when I wouldn't answer her question."

I have checked with our supplier several times and they never recognise the number being called from. They get iritated when i question them, and say they can prove they are from our supplier, then proceed to give us our meter number which would be easily found from anyone who had quoted us for energy before. When asked to provide our accoount number that the bills come from they would not give this .... as they do not have it proving they are not from our supplier."
