Originally spoofed energy company number but call rejection on our telephone system revealed the true caller. tried to create urgency by giving deadline for auto renewal, and changed offered rates when this was missed. Other calls from other power companies offering rates reiterated story that our accounts were up for auto renewal that day. I ended up calling our supplier directly to confirm the status of our accounts. They were not up for renewal and no-one from that company had called us for over two months."

I have tried to dial the number she called in on as a cold caller but it doesn't connect. I did agree to a surveyor coming to the house but if I cannot get through to her again to cancel it I won't let him in. It feels suspicious to me that they have a camera to go around a house by ringing out of the blue. Especially for an over 60 year old. Enticing you with a free survey."
