Got an automated call from 01604 913120 (Northampton) claiming to be Virgin Money Fraud Dept. They knew the last 4 digits of my A/C so it seemed real! They wanted me to confirm my birth year, date, and month - at that point, I hung up. I’ll do a chat online from my banking App. This is not legit!
Said they were virgin money fraud prevention team. They are not. I called my bank and told them they were trying to contact me and they said its not them as the fraud department is closed on Sunday
Tried to buy something online from a site I've used a couple of times before and it was fine. Tried again today and got 3 texts from the bank saying they had tried to take money from my account twice. So my bank wouldn't accept the payment. Then I received a call asking me to click a link to fix the problem.
