"Scam! NEVER reply to any unknown call, text, or email. NEVER speak to a scammer. NEVER return a call to a number you don't know. Report every scam attempt to the official police/Ofcom systems made for this. Text the phone call number and details (including silent calls) to 7726. Repeat if asked to confirm. Also report using your phone's spam report feature. Forward texts to 7726 AND report them on the text spam reporting facility. Keep an eye out for any reply as you might need to confirm. Forward scam emails to '[email protected]' AND report them using the email phishing report system: 3 dots at the right corner. All reports should be acted upon, but making multiple reports across all systems will make sure that all relevant agencies are notified of the scam and action IS taken. I can't find any references to this number online so I assume it is fairly recent, or they just haven't got to me yet and my number is one of millions being sold and passed around the globe. Thought I would share this experience here."
