"Pidgeon English. Got error warnings from their server regarding my computer. But they offer a £199.99 fix? Could be real, could be fake. Two past repairs cost £1500. These folks seem computer savvy. Think they’re based in Toronto but called through a UK mobile."

"Fake Windows Defender pop up. Screen looked and sounded like the computer was locked (press escape to get out of full screen) Number said it was Windows technical support"

"Foreign gentleman (I think Asian accent) said he was calling from Microsoft about my computer. I said no, I wasn't expecting a call from them. He belligerently said, 'What do you mean no?' He then talked over me, accused me of being rude and scolded me for not having the decency to listen. I thought him very rude, said 'bye and hung up. It surely must have been a scam."
