British gas my backside!
not British Gas but acting like they are and saying we can get a smart metre! somehow they knew our name! how unless British Gas gave these scammers our details! really scary!
Keep getting text messages saying need to replace smart meter claiming to be British Gas. Have checked and BG have confirmed it is nothing to do with them.
Talked about changing my meter, 3rd try in a few months. Confirmed with energy supplier on a safe contact number that they don’t plan to change my meter.
Said we got an SMS and had to press a number to listen to it, which we didn't do.
Receiving lots of text messages claiming to be British Gas. They want to move me to a smart meter but I already have one so must be a scam! They ask you to reply ‘yes’ but this is a total SCAM. Don’t fall victim to this number !!
