AI Summary
Based on 1 community report
This EE mobile number has been used for account takeover scams targeting personal information. The caller impersonates your phone provider (Three Mobile in this case) and claims your service will stop unless you upgrade to a new SIM with "new technology." The real trap comes when they ask you to verify your number and read out a Google verification code sent to your phoneβthey're attempting to hijack your Google account while posing as you. When challenged, the caller became abusive and ended the call. Never share verification codes with anyone, no matter who claims to be calling. If your provider contacts you about an upgrade, hang up, find the official number on your bill, and call them back directly.

Asked for personal info ..... They claimed to be from a company, my phone provider 3 mobile, said that my phone would be unusable in 2 days unless i upgraded to the new SIM using new technology, said i needed to verify my phone number and they would send a text message to my phone and could i check it now and tell them what the code was ? It was a text from 'Google' which said do not share this validation code with anybody, obviously these scammers had tried to get into my Google account and needed the verification code to validate it while pretending to be me, she got irate because i wouldnt tell her and asked her to send me an email, she knew the jig was up and i'd sussed her out so she ended the call with " Go [profanity]Profanity hidden. Toggle off "Filter profanity" above to see the original wording yourself !" and something about [profanity]Profanity hidden. Toggle off "Filter profanity" above to see the original wording and my grandmother, and references to a goat !

Safety score
1 reportHow this score was worked out
Each report rates the number as safe, unknown, suspicious or spam. The score blends those ratings, giving more weight to the more serious ones, and a number with only a few reports is held closer to neutral until more arrive. Feedback votes on reports can also influence it slightly. Scores of 70% and above count as high risk, 40% to 69% as medium, and below 40% as low. More about spam scores
