12 totalGot a letter that looked like it was from HMRC asking me to call a number and give my bank info. It said I was owed some tax credits, but I haven't had tax credits since 2012.
Letter arrived. which also had my NI Number , saying I was owed a tax refund and i should contact them so as to give them my bank details. Also the letter layout looks legit, but the phone number did not match HMRC contact number which you can find on Gov .UK website.
Said they were HMRC and you are owed money but they needed bank details to pay it! Also sending letters asking to call that number.
