"The usual call from a scammer saying that they'd been informed that I'd been involved in a car accident and that I hadn't received my compensation payment. I played along and, using my silly voice, asked how they got the information. They said it was from the UK insurance institute and quoted the law on receiving compensation after an accident. They then asked me to describe what my injuries were, and I got bored and hung up. Please do not give them any details. Please block this number in your phone now. Do not say anything, just hang up. Don't allow them to record your voice, do not give them any bank details - not even your address!"
