I advertised a valuable item on an online selling site and this bloke began texting me. He started just like scammers do, copying and pasting the item title and price, asking if it was still available. It seemed dodgy on my phone (Android), and when I questioned if he was real, I received a long stream of abuse across several messages, telling me to go F myself, my parents, and asking if I wanted to die, etc. His English was a bit broken, so I reckon he’s international, likely from Nigeria. The texts are on VOIP, and using the Lyca mobile network.
