"rang me out of nowhere at 17.11pm *not business hours?) saying they were "calling from the insurance" indian sounding woman was the voice. They asked about my life cover, and i told them "yes i have soemthing already so not interested in anything else" - not that i do / know tbh i just said that randomly! Anyway, they then said "i have on our records that you are a non smoker, is that still correct" and something about making sure i am not over paying, then i randomly told them i have an appointment and need to go, hung up and blocked them. Pests, why can't they do something more useful in life! thats several minutes of mine wasted and if i had continued the call god knows what scam i would be victim to."

"An Indian woman said they were calling from EZ something and claimed I’d won a £500 Toby Carvery voucher. They asked for my bank details. They had all my details. I don’t remember entering any competition, and if I had won, I would’ve been emailed for sure. I hung up, and they tried to call back three times. I don’t trust it."
"They said they were from Dept of Health and Social Care in England. Sounded like they were checking a postcode when I asked where they were based. I asked them to prove who they were. They told me it wasn't for them to prove themselves, but for me to prove myself. I said no, they had called me so they needed to show who they were. They hung up."

Very strange, i did press 2 but now i have blocked the number and reported it, obviously a scam.... I just hope they havent got any data from me by responding."
