Report all scam attempts to the official police/Ofcom systems designed to handle them. Text the phone number and details (including silent calls) to 7726. Repeat when asked to confirm. Also use the phone's spam report feature. Forward texts to 7726 AND report on the text spam report function. Keep an eye out for any reply as you might need to confirm. Forward scam emails to '[email protected]' AND report on the email phishing system: 3 dots in the top right corner. All reports should be acted upon, but multiple reports across all systems will make sure all relevant agencies are notified about the scam and action IS taken. Send texts to 7726 AND report it as spam in the text message app. See if you get a response as you might need to confirm.
