"They called, said they were the Housing Repair Team, working for the local council and housing association. Spoke with a thick Asian accent. They asked about any problems, like mould, damp and cracks. There was a delay when I spoke before they answered. I thought it was a scam, but he just repeated that he worked for the council etc. I asked who my Housing Association was, and he put the phone down."
"Caller said they were from the Housing Repair Team. I told them I had an issue with spam. After a noticeable pause, the caller asked if I was having a problem with damp and mould. I said no, just spam coming through the walls. There was another pause, then he said it seemed he had the wrong number. Looks like I’ll have to scrape the spam off the walls by myself . . . ."
