"Messages pretending to be UPS. Told me I must reply today so my order can be delivered. It's scary because they have all the right info, like a shop close to me. Clearly a scam, for example saying "your parcel’s on it’s way". It should be "your parcel’s on ITS way"."
"Just got the same message come up on my phone, i am expecting a delivery from the States and the code is a UPS code but shows the label has been made but no item got yet. The number is 07860043075. Very strange, i did press 2 but now i have blocked the number and reported it, obviously a scam.... I just hope they havent got any data from me by responding."
"Text seemed to be from UPS with my right tracking number and knew who sent it and mentioned local convenience shop as pickup option. Asked me to reply 1 = pickup at shop, 2 = home delivery or STOP. Didnt ask for any details but I replied '2' with no response then realised it was suspicious and blocked the number."
"Text message said they were from UPS and wanted a pickup location. I have ordered something, but not anything being delivered by UPS. Watch out for this!"
"Said they were from UPS and wanted me to reply asking for a pick up point near me - quite clever since the pick up points they mentioned are actually local to me!"
"Impersonating UPS. Said my parcel from [where I've ordered from] is on the way. Asking to reply with confirmation if it should be left at a nearby access point (which is really close to my home) or at home (didn't mention the address luckily). Definitely a scam."
"UPS parcel waiting for pickup from a corner shop near me, which seems dodgy. Parcel supposedly from "NC PROMOTIONS" but this is definitely a scammer trying it on."
"Said they were UPS with a package from Lightning Source UK. They offered collection from a corner shop close to me or delivery to my house, text 1 or 2."
"I got a text that looked like it came from UPS about an Amazon package. When I told Amazon, they thought it was a scam, but the package info was right."
