Life insurance calls

"They claimed to be my life insurance provider, I don’t have life insurance so almost certainly a scam. If I hadn’t put the phone down they’d probably have asked for personal details."

After around 30 mins of him checking my medical background, by asking me if X had changed, he suggested a company called Scottish Widdows. Slightly more coverage, same price (as my health had increased since I took my original insurance out. - which it had) He then asked for the sort code and account number and only for me to cancel my own direct debit with my old provider, which is the only dodgy bit about it."

"This was a cold call from an English speaking woman who sounded African, asking about my life insurance status. Clearly, if I let her go on, she likely would have wanted more personal details. I told her to take me off any future calls."
