"Man asked for husband by name, but I asked who he was. From 'Eco House' about funding. Told him we were TPS registered and he shouldn't have called. He argued it was not cold-calling. I said it was. He said he'd put a "do not call" notice on the record. This is the 13th call from a Core Telecom Ltd hosted/rented out number since 26 June - all different numbers across the UK. On the others, no message left when answerphone kicked in. He said that was a call-centre function - ring off if they don't get a human voice after so many rings. Reputable companies would leave a message. As for the Reading area code, it was a very northern accent!"

"Sick to the back teeth of phone calls from numbers hosted by/rented out by Core Telecom Ltd, from so many different places across the UK (11 since 24 June) where no message is left when the answerphone kicks in. High time Core Telecom were fined for permitting such calls. I don't have the time to report each individual one to OfCom."

"Answerphone picked up but only said "Thank you for calling" - no actual message. Typical robocall scam. This is the 5th call from a number on Core Telecomm Limited since 24 June, all from different numbers. Going to block it but they'll just call again. These telecom companies renting out numbers for scams should get fined just like the actual scammers do."
