Said they were EDF. Called a few times, which was harassment. Someone said they weren't with EDF and it was a scam, she put the phone down. The man kept saying it was real. I told him I owe an IT firm and I knew it was a scam. I ended the call and blocked the number on my mobile.
Said he was calling from EDF; when asked why he was calling, as we are not a customer, he got very rude.
Told me he was from EDF and wanted to know when our current contract finishes (we're with EDF at the moment) - asked him who he had as point of contact, and he gave a name of someone that had left the company 5-10yrs ago
It only rang a couple of times then stopped.
