AI Summary

Based on 4 community reports

Verified

This Salisbury-based number appears to be running telecommunications scams, with callers impersonating legitimate broadband providers. Reports describe various tactics including fake fibre upgrade offers for areas where the service isn't available, suspicious "digital upgrade" calls, and attempts to pose as BT or Openreach representatives while actually representing unknown companies.

The callers seem polite but are clearly trying to deceive people about their identity and services. One common red flag is offering upgrades or services that aren't actually available in your area, which genuine providers would know. Another warning sign is when callers claim to be from well-known companies like BT but are actually representing unfamiliar third parties.

If you receive calls from this number, be very cautious about providing any personal information or agreeing to services. Legitimate broadband providers will have proper verification processes and won't cold-call with vague upgrade offers. It's best to hang up and contact your actual provider directly if you're interested in upgrades.

Said they were calling about our "digital upgrade". Very unconvincing and dodgy. I suspect it's a scam call.

Said they were checking services from Openreach for a company I'd never heard of. Tried to make me think they were BT calling. Nice caller but very dubious of the motives.

They didn't leave a message, so I always think it's dodgy!
