I got asked a bunch of questions about my health. They said they were from the nhs aftercare service. I've been in recently, so I didn't pay much attention. 30 minutes later, my own voice with different words was playing back to me. Be very very careful!!!! They called back on the same number asking for my mum and said I need help getting a train home. In the call, they asked if my mum could send my friend Alison the money and help me. I’m stuck in ‘eden berg’ with no way to get home. Yes please, it’s really me mum. AI SCAM!!!

I don't ever pick up the landline. The answer phone is always on. No message was left, so it’s clearly a scammer.

Called about checking loft insulation. Couldnt tell me my address because of data protection rules. I asked her how come she had my phone number then and she hung up.

Unknown number so went to answerphone but they didnt leave a message so I think scammers or at least someone I dont want to talk to

Unknown caller. Answerphone picked up. They hung up when the answerphone started so not important. Could be dangerous if I'd answered. My phone number is registered with TPS!

Scammers! NEVER answer an unknown call or text. NEVER speak to a scammer. NEVER ring back an unknown number. Report all scam attempts on the official police/Ofcom systems made to handle them. Text phone call number and details (including silent calls) to 7726. Repeat when told to confirm. Also report on the phone's spam report thing. Send texts to 7726 AND report on the text spam report thing. Look for any response as you may need to confirm. Send scam emails to '[email protected]' AND report on the email phishing report system: 3 dots right corner. All reports should be done but multiple reports on all report systems will make sure all right agencies are told about the scam and action IS taken. Google 7726 & '[email protected]' for more info

Call starts with "Hi my name is Jo", then goes on to talk about loft insulation and asks if you're the homeowner, etc. Needs a response so the script can carry on. If you ask a question it cant answer, it pauses, goes back a step, then carries on and repeats. Can't respond to anything when you challenge where they got your information from in the 'database'. They can't answer and ask for your entry to be removed from the database but are stuck. Definitely Artificial Intelligence and a very bad one! SCAM call like others said, might use your voice to make a voice pattern of you! DANGEROUS

It's AI Jo with the loft insulation scam! Check it out online! The internet has loads of warnings. Don't speak to scammers. The call might be recorded and AI could copy your British voice to scam other people. Report ALL scam attempts. Info shared below. Unfortunately, there are people who get caught by these scams. That's why scammers keep doing it. To help protect people AND help cut down the massive amount of scam calls texts and emails that come to the UK daily, everyone should report them to the systems made to handle them. Right now, hardly any get reported so government numbers don't show this is a big problem. That's just what scammers want! And blocking doesn't stop scams. Blocks only stop that single number from ringing YOUR phone.
