"Same thing happened here. The number was flagged as possible spam so I didn't pick up. I went on here to find out what it was. I'm an Eon Next customer. They're probably trying to get me to have a new smart meter fitted. They have been bothering me with texts and emails about it."

"Rang off before I could answer and left no message. They have called me twice in last few days and hung up just before I got to the phone. The only information I can find so far on the number is the number is a landline operated by Core Telecom Limited and located in Manchester, England. There is nothing else so far I can find to identify who they are. I am interested to know if anyone else has anything on this number."

"Got a call asking if I had ordered an iPhone from Amazon. When I said no, they started talking about my card. I asked what this had to do with Amazon, and they asked again about the iPhone. I said I would check my Amazon and I hung up. I checked my account and there wasn't any phone order."
