Said they were ringing about my O2 SIM card, I'm not with 02, so they put the phone down.
A SIM swapping scam call that tries to trick people into letting them control their phone number, so they can get past two-factor authentication for bank accounts. They said my SIM card needed an upgrade or it would be cut off. She sent a Virgin Media text with a verification code to my phone to "prove" it was real. I ended the call when she kept trying to get my email address.
Said they were from o2 and my sim card needed updating and i'd get a new SIM tomorrow. Then wanted me to check my email address but he rang off when I asked him to check it first
